Popular(??) manga artist Nobuyuki Anzai has written on his blog that the staff at Shounen Sunday Weekly apparently are no longer interested in letting him start a new manga on their magazine again. Nobuyuki Anzai has been with Sunday Weekly for more than 10 years with manga such as R.Princess, Flame of Recca, and MAR.

Nobuyuki Anzai has always been a subject of controversy in that his manga frequently follows a plot that is very similar to Shounen Jump artist Yoshihiro Togashi’s works(Hunter x Hunter, Yu Yu Hakushou). Many also accuse him of having no actual talent and his boring manga should never have been animated.

According to blog Tentative Name. , the long rumoured Haruhi live drama has been confirmed in a magazine. I guess the news from this blog posted August last year was actually right after all. Nobody believed it back then because no official sources have confirmed it.

It is also possible that the magazine had somehow mistaken the news written on the blog as the truth, but it’s not that likely… I think.
