Nobuyuki Anzai no longer with Sunday Weekly

mar.jpgPopular(??) manga artist Nobuyuki Anzai has written on his blog that the staff at Shounen Sunday Weekly apparently are no longer interested in letting him start a new manga on their magazine again. Nobuyuki Anzai has been with Sunday Weekly for more than 10 years with manga such as R.Princess, Flame of Recca, and MAR.

Nobuyuki Anzai has always been a subject of controversy in that his manga frequently follows a plot that is very similar to Shounen Jump artist Yoshihiro Togashi’s works(Hunter x Hunter, Yu Yu Hakushou). Many also accuse him of having no actual talent and his boring manga should never have been animated.
