Capcom releases educational textbook on videogames

capcom.jpgCapcom has released a press release today saying that as a first in the game industry, they have published an educational textbook called “Secrets of video games” and sent it to 24,000 primary schools and 2,700 public libraries around Japan.

The book is part of gakken’s series of books that teach children difficult concepts in a simple manner using comics. The book contains information on the things that a game creator does, the development process in creating a game, how games affect the brain, and also how economically competitive the game industry is.
