So with this information and the catalog it is enough to check out what circles the legendary girl A is buying from!

At 6:30pm today in Akihabara, over 500 people took to the streets in Akihabara in a demonstration to liberate Akihabara. It was a peaceful demonstration with cosplayers and loud akiba music and lots of people. The demonstration was officially registered with the authorities and was completely legal.

The demonstration as a whole was a protest against the unfair treatment of minority groups such as otaku in today’s Japanese society. However, participants in the demonstration also have their own individual reasons such as to protest against the restrictions on the material that can go into anime and manga and so on.

There’s no info to write about other than that Kadokawa is producing a Suzumiya Haruhi no yuutsu game on the Wii. But Kadokawa is an evil empire that has ordered all Suzumiya Haruhi related vids and fan vids to be removed from youtube and nico nico video, they must be stopped and hated and stuff.

Bandai Channel has announced that singer Utada Hikaru’s new song “Beautiful world” will be the theme song for the upcoming Evangelion movie that will air on the 1st of September. The “Beautiful world” single will be released on the 29th of August.

In addition to “Beautiful world”, the single will also contain “Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) -2007 MIX-”, a remix of “Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words)” which was in one of Utada Hikaru’s singles released in 1999.

The song “Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) -2007 MIX-” is used in the movie’s trailers which will be showing up in theatres starting on the 30th of June.

07th Expansion has revealed the cover of their upcoming sound novel Umineko no naku koro ni. I had thought they would use that art by that other artist for the cover, but he decided to use his own art. It’s awesome to have the Tomitake lookalike at the corner. You just know he’ll be the first to die.

The latest issue of famitsu has revealed that along with the Haruhi PSP game, they are also making a Haruhi game for the PS2. It looks like… the objective is to make a fantasy RPG with the SOS dan? It actually sounds pretty interesting, and it’s Kyoani art too.

Additional info: The game is called Suzumiya Haruhi no tomadoi and it will be released in 2008 Jan. You play as Kyon and attempt to make a video game as a member of the SOS dan, the game that you make will be playable.

Two days ago a hand drawn illustration with a signature by Lucky Star author Yoshimizu Kagami was sold on Yahoo Auction for a total of 723,000 yen (5,900 USD). The full size picture of the item in question can be seen here. Man I understand that Lucky Star is pretty cool but $5,900…

It looks like Yoshimizu’s doujin circle will be having a pretty long line at the coming summer Comic Market… And here’s cached link of the auction in case the auction details can’t be viewed anymore.

Sponichi Annex reports that American magician Franz Harary will be performing an illusion where the Tokyo Big Sight will transform into a robot during the Japanese premiere of the Transformers movie on the 24th of July. The illusion costs them approximately 200 million yen to produce.

Tokyo Big Sight is the largest convention centre in Japan and also the convention venue where Comic Market has been held at since 1996 after moving from Harumi.
