Konami has announced that Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Chouzetsu Hakkutsu ONLINE has ended service due to problems that arose during software installation during their closed beta. The game was supposed to be some kind of online trading card game where you drill for pictures from the anime.

Apparently, when you install the game, it’d corrupt your Windows registry and completely mess Windows up with no way to fix the problem unless you reinstalled Windows. Konami apparently then mailed 500GB external hard drives together with backup software to users so they can back up all their software while reinstalling windows.

Teatime has released the opening movie of their upcoming 3D eroge Love Death 2 for download. Man the graphics are nice, I’m not usually interested in yaruge but I’ll probably be trying this out.

A student from Senshu University has made a novel game “The tale of Sagoromo“, based on the traditional Japanese story, Sagoromo Monogatari (Not to be confused with Hagoromo Monogatari). The game is free for download and is hosted on the university’s servers.

Cospa has announced that they will start selling “Shizukuishi kyuun kyuun toilet paper” at the summer Comic Market. This is based on the famous all-ages peeing comic, “Iinari! Aibure-shon”. Shizukuishi is a character in the comic who keeps wetting herself… and also sprays it all over others. Her favorite item is toilet paper as she keeps trying to wipe herself clean while she wets herself in the middle of the street. It’s not an adult comic though! So you can safely read it with the kids or something.

The upcoming Korean drama “I am Sam” is slated to air in Korea on the 6th of August, but it has already created a big commotion as pictures that have been released have revealed that the school uniforms worn in the drama are exactly the same as the uniforms from the eroge “Shuffle!”.

The drama is rumoured to be based on the manga “Kyoukasho ni nai!”, which is about a teacher who was forced by the yakuza to make their head’s daughter successfully graduate and is made to live together with the girl. It is not known if the drama will feature empty pots.

According to the Australian newspaper the Herald Sun, a charity auction will be held on the 28th in South Yarra, Australia, auctioning art from contemporary artists. They expect most of the art to sell for more than 10,000 AUD (8,500 USD) and one of the pieces that will go on sale is a modified picture of Haruhi saying “You are so bad!” by artist Song Ling. Shanghai Alice has released a new downloadable demo for their upcoming shooter, Touhou Fuujinroku. A patch is also available at ZUN’s blog. The full game will be released at the summer comiket.

Taito has released the punch dodging action game Renapan for imode cellphones. This is the same minigame that was in the PC version of Higurashi no naku koro ni and they’re planning to release another version in late August that will support online rankings. Why is this being released at all!

The live action porn video Higurashi ga naku koro ni has been released by TMA and Choudai blog has a review of it. It’s in Japanese, so if you don’t understand it you can laugh at the pictures instead.

The official site for Maria-sama ga miteru has updated with a new picture saying that they’re making season 4. In other news, Zepy also updated Canned Dogs with a post that basically means that he couldn’t find any news again. In even bigger news, Momotato Daioh has not updated yet. I like Marimite.
