New discovery of Akihabara tour
The Tourism Industry Association of Japan has announced that the “New Discovery of Akihabara” tour will now operate on a regular basis through the entire year starting from the 7th of July. The tour is a free walking tour that has been held over 5 different periods since November 2005 and it takes visitors through all the major electronics and duty free outlets in Akihabara and recently also to Kotobukiya and the Tokyo Anime Center.
They’re not going to tell you where to find K-books or Mandarake or any of the maid cafes, but they speak English and will probably be of great help if you’re completely new to Akihabara.
