Kazoku Keikaku for USA
I just found out that Kazoku Keikaku was announced for USA at the JAST USA panel at AX 2007 and thought it deserved some mentioning. Kazoku Keikaku is one of those games that will never go unmentioned in any top 10 eroge list and also had one of Wakamoto Norio’s more memorable roles.
I’m really surprised that it was announced for release in USA because I had long thought that the real gems in eroge will never make it to American shores.

Just one thing to point out to you: Kazoku Keikaku was made by D.O., a subsidiary of CD-Bros, which is the company G-collections (under JAST USA) localizes their products. At least two other D.O. games I know of have been licensed by G.C., being Crescendo, and Kana Little Sister.
I was actually far more surprised to find out that Kazoku Keikaku is held in such a high regard (I never thought D.O. could’ve been that good). Crescendo was already one of the best localized eroge I’ve played, so I’m definitely interested in this one. Then again, KK is already old, at least 4 years old, so acquiring the license now was slightly easier. And I must say it’s a rather pleasant surprise too.

Oh! Thanks for the info. I haven’t been keeping in touch with the US eroge industry so I didn’t know any of this.
