The august issue of Cobalt magazine has announced a 4th season of Marimite. It is not yet known if it is going to be a TV series or an OVA, or when it will actually start.

An old cart of the Famicom game Super Maruo had sold for 499,000 yen (4,100 USD) on Yahoo Auctions a few days ago. According to this site, Super Maruo was the first adult game to be (illegally) released for the Famicom on Dec 1986.

It was apparently very badly made and had very little content but they sold it for 6,800 yen, resulting in very low sales and thus also making this one of the rarest carts out there for the Famicom.

Doujin circle souvenir circ. has released a demo of their action fighting game Suzumiya Haruhi no chourantou. However, it’s not a playable demo, it just runs the game in demo mode so you can see if it will run smoothly on your PC. The full version will be sold at the summer comiket (if nothing goes wrong).

I seem to have forgotten all about doujin games recently…

Famitsu.com has better looking pics of the PS3 remake of Tears to Tiara now. Come to think of it, I really wonder how much Sony is paying Aquaplus to actually get them to make a PS3 game, and put Nakamura and Amaduyu on the project no less.

Chara-ani has released a Doki doki majo shinpan T-shirt with lots of touching and catching of witches. It’ll obviously take a real man to actually walk on the streets with this shirt on…

Some days ago Leaf announced a PS3 remake of Tears to Tiara apparently, and the official site is up now. You can obviously see the next-gen graphics at work here because it’s the same cast of characters from the old Tears to Tiara and they look VERY DIFFERENT.

So yeah it’s basically a completely new game. They dropped the old artist Furudera Naru and used Amaduyu and Nakamura this time, the battles are in full 3D, the storyline has been completely reworked, and they are using completely different voice actors for all the characters.

A few days ago a girl in her 2nd year of highschool in Osaka reported on the vip boards in 2ch that the Lucky Star OP lyrics appeared in one of her tests. So yeah, either the teacher’s a niconico addict or just taking random songs from the oricon charts.

After missing 2 days of stuff I still couldn’t find anything significant to post about!

Ichijinsha had a complete renewal of their special section for Touhou Bougetsushou and has put the first chapter of the manga online for reading, together with a short introduction to the touhou world and a small description of 3 characters.
