SNK Playmore to sell Dokimajo pillow covers at Tokyo Game Show 2007

shirimasen.jpgEroge/Galge online goods store Exhaust has revealed that SNK Playmore is making pillow covers featuring Akai Maho from Doki Doki Majo Shinpan. The pillow case will be available in stores starting from October 4th, but SNKP will be selling it early at the coming TGS 2007.

They should just get a booth at Comic Market and quit TGS already. Who needs KOF12 when SNKP has SISTER QUEST anyway?

At this rate they should just get into the eroge business instead. They have some awesome character designers in SNKP, and I can imagine them coming out with a fighting game/eroge combination for the market. The arcade version could have the fighting bits while the PC version includes all the adult bits! Sure to be a hit! :D

I hate to break it to you, but SNK dun do pachinko no more. Pachinko was Aruze’s bullcrap, and it was the thing that nearly killed SNK when theyw ere bought over by them. Unless the game was made when SNK merged with Playmore to become SNKP (and I notice the P is missing in the Sister Quest page)

But I second Fat Cat Lim: SNKP EROGE ! It would kick ass. No, it WILL kick ass. They have the character designers, they have the ideas, and the originality. They can produce fighting games that can challenge real gamers (games that don’t use air combos) and they have the experience. All they need is use the right elements of Doki Doki, KOF, one of their really old RPGs, and put them into one eroge.

Only barrier would be SNKP’s love to pander to an all-ages market…. guess we’d have to wait and see.

it’s amazing there’s still no eroge dokidoki majou shinpan yet. lol :D

I dunno, I’ve played this game, it’s fun, but it’s like a softcore eroge’, that’s probably what makes it so sexy.

SNKP actually started in the pachinko business soon after claiming all their assets back from Aruze in late 2004. They started becoming very active in the pachinko starting in 2006 and now have already released almost 20 different pachinko games in the market.

Sister Quest was announced at SNKP’s Tokyo show room on the 30th of July, the reason why you don’t see P is because the “Playmore” part of their name is always written in katakana when in Japanese pages.

    I need KOF 12… I need it a lot :0

  6. Charles Says:

Zepy > Ah, I have been enlightened. I apologise for the mistake…. though I’d still play KOF XII myself. And, well, an eroge, if they ever produce a really, really good one.

  7. Al Says:

Yeah more KOF, but more they should publish those KOF gal-games that were for cell-phones and upcoming DS. I mean a full galgame with eroge scenes. Those female redesigns kick-ass!
