Game Center Arashi returns after 20 years as Salaryman Trader Arashi
Comic Gumbo, has announced that Ishino Arashi from Game Center Arashi will be making a comeback as Salaryman Trader Arashi in their coming issue which will be released on the 7th of August. The manga is targeting adults as the main audience and will be taking on the stock market this time.
Salaryman Trader Arashi will be done by Mitsuru Sugaya, the same author that did Game Center Arashi 20 years ago. The author’s also going to be 57 this year too.
It looks like Arashi is still wearing his awesome space invader cap even though he is no longer an arcade gamer.

Now that explains a lot. As it happens, I just watched Arcade Gamer Fubuki yesterday, and was wondering why this Arashi character was unexplainedly being treated like a legend… I had no idea he had his own show two decades ago! - ZM
