Moetan episode 6 pulled from TV
Next week’s episode of Moetan was supposed to have been episode 6, but it has been changed to episode 5.5, a recap episode, at the last moment. The episode that will air after 5.5 will be episode 7, and episode 6 will become DVD-only, due to circumstances beyond their control.
People who have been watching the anime should know how dirty it is with the transformation sequences and tentacle stuff. The anime was bad enough to have censorship in certain scenes in Osaka too, so one can only imagine how bad episode 6 must have been for it to be pulled from a late-night TV time slot…

how do you increase interest in your product? make it too hot for TV and pull it at the last minute. Kudos to their marketing department, that ep. on DVD will sell like hotcakes served at a moe maid cafe.

You know… It’s a good thing that anime is becoming wider in variety and ubiquity. Or else one would think that this industry only caters to its pedophiles and spineless blobs of Haruhi / Eva / ridiculousl-popular-anime fans.
Oh yeah. What does Japan do to keep people from committing suicide? Creates “So Long, Mr. Despair;” where the male lead commits suicide constantly. :P

“So Long, Mr. Despair”
If this is the title that people are gonna call Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei by, you might as well off yourself. Sounds like a damn HK comedy from the 80s.

I was calling it “So Long, Mr. Desperate” because it was an exact translation off of Babelfish. :P
And what’s up with people’s knee-jerk reaction to tell somebody to off themselves when given a different opinion? Don’t you know that there are even worse people out there in the world who need ot die more than outraged anime watchers? -_-;

hahahaha i saw this, and its not even dirty (well, Dirty-er) its just normal Moetan. It was a marketing plan, its like showing you cake, and telling you “want some cake? Well this cake is delicious, but we wont tell you its flavor unless you buy it”.
The anime industry is all about Money now.
