Hatsune Miku Vocaloid 2 stuff
ITmedia news has an article on the increasing popularity of Hatsune Miku, which is selling faster than the company can make them. Music production software in Japan normally sells 200~300 copies on average and it’s considered a big hit if they sell 1,000 copies. Hatsune Miku has sold 3,000 copies to date.
The makers attribute the success to video sharing sites such as niconico douga and youtube where users have used their software and posted up their own work, which impressed others, making more people buy the software to make their own.
They’ve also posted a zip file containing high resolution pictures of Hatsune Miku on their official blog now, as many users have been requesting for it.

so uh, interested parties should be aware that there is an iso of deus ex labeled as hatsune miku floating around perfect dark and winny. just a heads up.
i think im actually being forced to _purchase_ software here. or maybe im just being impatient?
