Yasamata Shiyami fined 300,000 yen

yasui.jpgYasamata Shiyami, the doujin author who was arrested on charges of distribution of indecent material, was ordered by the Matsuyama Small Claims Court today to pay a fine of 300,000 yen (US$2,600). That’s a really cheap fine… I guess it was really only a warning like what some people were speculating.

    That’s good to hear. I wonder if they’ll go after the printing company and the shops that distributed his books more vigorously, though…
