Aso Taro to give speech in Akiba today
Aso Taro’s official site has updated with his schedule for sunday and he’ll be giving a speech in Akiba this evening. Everybody’s looking at him as a possible successor to Prime Minister Abe Shinzo who had announced his plans to resign.
Aso Taro also held speeches in Akihabara during the last elections and he wasn’t completely successful in winning the otaku vote. I wonder if he’ll be well received this time.
edit: All he talked about was manga and 2ch, just because the people won’t be the ones voting for him. I’d really want to see how crazy Japan will become under his leadership, too bad he doesn’t have much chance of becoming PM…
