World’s first Vocaloid unit
dRESS from music group ave;new is at it again posting a Vocaloid version of snow of love and revealing plans to form the world’s first music unit called new;LOVELOID with Hatsune Miku as 3 vocalists, even saying that he’ll compose original songs for the unit.
They sounded pretty serious. I guess that means we can expect to see Vocaloid featured on ave;new albums come year end!? I’ve needs to keep up with ave;new and do more stupid things like this too.

To be honest, I’m not sure Miku is ready for this. There’s a lot of stuff she just can’t do, if the countless videos on nico are any indication.
Of course, those are pretty much all amateur. dRESS’s version of True My Heart with Miku was pretty good, so maybe it just depends on the skill of the composer?
Eh, it should be interesting to see. Perhaps an entire album of Miku…?

I, for one, welcome our digital voice synthesizers overlords. At least they should sing marginally better than any American Idol rejects. ;)
