Akatsuki Blitzkampf going to arcades
The November issue of Arcadia magazine apparently has a scoop on Akatsuki Blitzkampf AC, which is going to be the arcade version of the Akatsuki Blitzkampf, a doujin 2D fighter developed by Subtle Style. I wish I could say Big Bang Beat will probably be next, but that doujin circle has already fallen apart…

Perhaps Subtle Style will get a budget to not reuse animations!
Unfortunately, even though the source material and the character designs for Big Bang Beat are amazing, the general consensus is the gameplay is trash.
An apt analogy would be pre-FT Melty Blood where instead of making the game better each patch made the game worse. (The patches are also done by aja-games now that NRF asploded.)
Doujin fighting gamers aren’t really THAT picky, so when they hate one of their own with that much intensity it’s sort of scary.
