Perhaps Subtle Style will get a budget to not reuse animations! Unfortunately, even though the source material and the character designs for Big Bang Beat are amazing, the general consensus is the gameplay is trash. An apt analogy would be pre-FT Melty Blood where instead of making the game better each patch made the game worse. (The patches are also done by aja-games now that NRF asploded.)
