TMA has uploaded a streaming video trailer for their upcoming Lucky Star parody AV vid, Kira☆Star. They’ve also announced in their upcoming line-up that they’ll be releasing an 8 hour 2 DVD collection of the drama parody scenes without the porn from all their previous anime related titles. (NSFW)

The collection of the drama parts would include Kira☆star, Higurashi, Melancholy of hahiru, Lozen Maiden, and Faith/stay knight I guess. That’s enough laughter for the entire family.

Tokei News reports that Telenet Japan, once famous for games such as Valis and Arcus has closed down after 24 years of business. Man, I guess all those last ditch efforts of selling their games to eroge didn’t work. Maybe Tri-ace will take their property and make a new Valis game again…!?

Otaroad blog reports that Sansai books has released a guidebook to the doujin music scene called “Doujin ongaku wo kikou!”. It contains the history of all the popular themes in the doujin scene apparently, together with a column on Sound Horizon and interviews with some creators.

World’s biggest melon pan?
11 times bigger than the normal melon pan measuring at around 30cm in diameter and 1 kg in weight, selling at 1500 yen each. Apparently there were people that even bought it to use as a birthday cake.

Last night, a large number of foreigners had gathered on one of the trains travelling on the Yamanote line and held a Halloween party in one of the train cars. More information on what the event is about can be seen at Japan Probe.

Now the event has already ended, and there have been several reports from the Japanese on 2channel that there were foreigners involved in the party running around shouting and scolding vulgarities at Japanese people that had nothing to do with the party, and some of the Japanese were chased around and had beer poured on them, to the point where one person reportedly had his cellphone broken.

The train had to be stopped at Shinagawa for 20 minutes while the train was checked because the party goers had removed the fluorescent lighting from one of the train cars.

Now a series of vids about the Halloween party titled “Fuck GAIJIN!” have been uploaded to youtube. Along with some other vids.

Update: The name of the vids have been changed from “Fuck GAIJIN!” to “GAIJIN Train! Yamanote Line Halloween”

Riesbyfe and Roa have been revealed as new characters. I knew these two characters would be added! I guess Shiki would be next. The game is planned for arcade release 2008 Spring.

Dengeki online reports that Interchannel Holon will be porting Ys I and Ys II to the DS for release in spring 2008. Both titles will be sold separately for 5040 yen each. I’m not sure if I’d want to pay that much to play yet another remake of Ys I and Ys II…

An ad in Famitsu has revealed that the next issue of Arcadia will feature a game called Melty Blood Actress Again. What kind of name is Actress Again anyway!? Speaking of which, Tougeki Damashii which originally leaked the info about Melty Blood 2 will be out in 4 days.

ITmedia reports that the Japanese Cabinet Office has conducted a survey on whether manga and illustrations should be subject to child porn laws, and 58.9% have answered that it should, and another 27.6% answered that if they had to pick between the choices, they lean towards that the law should apply.

Only 6.6% answered that they lean towards that the law should not apply, and only 2.5% answered that the law should not apply at all. 4.5% answered that they don’t know.

Also, 90.9% feel that possession of child porn should be restricted, 63.2% feel that the government should regulate harmful content in magazines, DVDs, and games etc to keep them away from the children, and 90.9% feel that the government should regulate harmful content on the internet from children.

The survey was conducted by individual face to face interviews with 3000 people aged 20 and above across the whole of Japan.

I wonder what they’re trying to do, after all these recent events on censorship. And I love their method of conducting the survey.
