Jump Square sold out in many places

ureruna.jpgAkibablog and Otaroad blog reports that the newly launched monthly manga magazine Jump Square is sold out in most shops across Akihabara and Nipponbashi. I’d thought they were crazy when they announced they were going to have a print run of 500,000 copies on the first issue, but I guess it’s a big success.

The magazine targets both males and females at a 6:4 ratio within the age group of 15 to 25. Meaning one of the manga in the magazine is about the wonderful friendship between two handsome men that keep having their clothes taken off every other page.

TISTA was pretty cool though. …And Chaos Kitchen.

Those titles were like oil and water. I can’t imagine a magazine surviving with titles so different from each other.
