Vocaloid 2 CV2 Kagamine Rin

tokachi.jpgA photo from the next issue of DTM magazine has been leaked, revealing that the second character voice in the Vocaloid 2 series will be called Kagamine Rin, and the character voice will be by Shimoda Mami. They plan to release the new version of Vocaloid 2 in December.

Shimoda Mami has been pretty famous in nico douga as the tokachi girl from Idolmaster, I wonder if they picked her because of Hatsune Miku’s popularity in nico douga too.

    I am sure there will be videos of “Tokachi” singing Levan Polka in a few days and Nico Nico user will call her Tokachiloid…

    Yes, you are right, but first I searched Levan polka on Google to be sure, and there were more results with L than I, so I wrote it with L, it is more popular that way.
    The same with “Tokachitsukuchite”, because it is actually Tokashitsukushite, but Ami from Idolm@ster sings it that way, so fans call her Tokachi…

    Bleh, even more loli and squeaky-voiced than the original.

    If they get Asami Imai to voice the third one, though, all will be forgiven.
