First pics from third Kara no kyoukai movie
The aniplex column over at Akibablog has put up 10 pics from the third movie which will start on the 9th of February. The pictures are cool but more importantly, the column has reveals that the scene from the start of chapter 3 will be in the movie completely unmodified.
I love ufotable. They probably couldn’t have done it if it was on TV…

I read (I think over at ComiPress) that Nasu Kinoko was actually thinking about re-writing things or making adjustments to the story but ufotable begged to let them run with it the way it was and they way they edited it impressed him enough anyway.
It’s good to see that ufotable is getting a chance to do some more serious material and I’m glad they are getting the recognition they deserve for it.

The original idea was that Kinoko would rewrite the plot for chapter 1, but as he was writing it, the ufotable guys also decided to try writing the script for the original first chapter, as they didn’t have anything to do while waiting for Kinoko.
Kinoko had actually already finished writing the plot for what would have been the first movie, but he read their script and found it really good and decided that he didn’t have to rewrite the story afterall.
The rewritten plot was apparently really good too. But the rest of the world will never get to see it.
