Sakura Taisen cafe to close on the 30th of March
Impress Game Watch reports that Taishou Romando & Sakura Cafe, the Sakura Taisen themed cafe and store in Ikebukuro GiGO, will be closing for good on the 30th of March. The reason that Sega gives for closing it is that after being up for 10 years, it has served its purpose of communicating with the fans.
The Taishou Romando store was established on 13th June 1998 selling Sakura Taisen merchandise, and it expanded in July 2003 and started the Sakura Cafe.
They will be holding 18 talk shows featuring the character seiyuu people and the creator of the series over the next two months as a closing down event.
The store wouldn’t have died if Sakura Taisen 4 and 5 didn’t exist :(
