Bubble wrap popping featuring Kugimiya Rie
Late last year, Bandai had released a highly successful little electronic keychain called Mugen Puchi Puchi that simulates the feeling of bubble wrap so people can enjoy the ecstatic feeling of popping those bubble wrap bubbles whenever they like.
So following the success of the original product, Bandai has announced Mugen Puchi Puchi Puchimoe, which is basically the same contraption, except it will feature Kugimiya Rie’s voice saying a phrase once every 50 times you press those buttons. And she’ll plead for you to do it more after you stop for 15 seconds too.
It comes in 4 versions - Maid, childhood friend, tsundere, and little sister. It’ll be released on the 8th of March for 819 yen each.

Oh what the hell Japan. The fact that a bubble-wrap-popping simulator was made is weird enough as it is.

This is the pinnacle of human civilization.
What began with the discovery of fire and the creation of the wheel has now finally reached its utmost form.
For it is not simply a mere bubble wrap popping simulator. Oh no, that’s too simple. You see, for all of the genius of that idea, something more is required to make it truly great.
And that something… is tsundere. By combining an amazing technological achievement - bubble wrap - and an amazing biological achievement - tsundere - Bandai has created the ultimate piece of technology and the ultimate piece of art.
This is the zenith of civilization. This is mankind’s defining masterpiece.

I’d boy that, but not the rie version. Popping bubble wrap is fun, I don’t need a seiyuu to tell me that.
