Wow. Totally loving those priorities they’ve got going on there. You’d think that if their mission was to prevent things from “damages their product’s image” …they’d first go about stopping the companies making pornos with women dressed up as her….rather than the harmless doujin games. :\

So this is the way to thank their fans? Great. Crypton. You just lost my purchases. I’m cancelling my pre-orders for anything with Miku in it. That’s just a drop of S$500 to you. But I’ll rather spend that S$500 on products that are fan-friendly.

p.s. As mt-i said earlier, the dakimakura case was more ecchi than this Princess Maker-like game. This move by Crypton’s just plain BAKA.

Filing this one under “biting the hand that feeds”. Miku’s absurd level of popularity is not the result of Crypton’s incredible marketing work, but rather it is an artifact of the incredible marketing work that the fanbase has done for them, free of charge.

Considering the fact that men want to get laid without the cops crashing their parties; the choice between integrity and money is a difficult and complicated one at that.

Crypton, despite BEING TOO LATE, would rather keep Vocaloid’s spiritual virginity than whore her out. Good for these people. :P

Hmm, I think you were going for “pulls out all the stops”, but that actually means “does something as thoroughly as possible”. Maybe “puts the stop on” would work better? :D

I’m on the fence here.

Remembering that there was a plan for a Miku eroge… I dunno. On the upside, Crypton wants to protect the integrity of their product, esp. if one remembers the bizarre case they had with being misrepresented in the news at one time…..

But on the downside, this is a blow for the doujin-side. Doujin have been around for so long, and companies have gone to other measures to protect their integrity.

I’d like to see how this develops.

Well to this date I know of over 250+ Vocaloid doujinshis alone been released :P and thats for sure not all of them LOL

If they really go full time at it, they are truthfully just gonna kill of the fanbase completely.
