Modifying the Lucky Star Nendroids

newsganai.jpgJapanese blog Muten daikoku had tried an interesting way of modifying the Lucky Star Nendroids, by taking their heads and putting them on the bodies from the To Heart 2 gachapon figures that were released a while ago, creating Lucky Star figures that are of proper scale.

I thought the Lucky Star Nendroids looked a little fat but I wouldn’t mind buying them now since I got a few spare To Heart 2 gachapon figures lying around…! (They were really cheap)

    I know I’m being anal but Nendroid Puchi/Petite, not quite the same as the Nendroid Nendroid line.

    I was thinking man, those Nendroid heads would be huge on Gachapon… Can’t say I’m a big fan of any of the Puchi lineup, or Gachapon for that matter either, unless there is a Yellow Submarine around so I can just buy the ones I actually want. (Marked up but still cheaper than taking chances IMO.)

    That’s actually pretty neat. Maybe he should also swap the ToHeart 2 heads on the Lucky Star Nendroid Petite bodies for lulz.

    Wow. Shows how much fans want an accuarate depiction of the LS girls; the closest thing is the Konata Haruhi cosplay by figma, but that is a Wonder Festival-only figure.

    I’m also wanting more proper figures… Avoided the nendroids because they seemed overly SD. The “Lucky Star Figure Collection” sets are ok but smalllll, and expensive for the size at that.

    I thought Nendroids were a lot bigger than that for some reason. So they’re only what, 2 inches or something?

    @JUNK: Those are the Petit Nendoroids; they are smaller than the regular Nendoroids.
