CD featuring Niconico singers ranks 9th on Oricon
Lantis gumikyouku feat. Nico Nico Artists, a single featuring popular amateur singers from Niconico douga singing a medley of otaku oriented songs that belong to Lantis has just been released, and it has managed to rank 9th on the daily Oricon charts on its first day.
Part of the reason for the high sales is also because the CD costs only 1,200 yen (US$12), but I think I can hear some people in the music industry crying as a bunch of amateurs get into the top 10!
It would have been awesome if Isaji participated in the CD too…
