Campaign to make virtual child porn illegal
The Japanese government has been moving towards making the possession of child porn illegal recently, but Unicef feels it is not enough and they have been campaigning for the government to ban child pornography in manga, animated films and computer games.
However, their definition of virtual pornography is saying that even for AV involving real people above the age of 18, it should not be allowed if they look young and are dressed like in costumes like sailor uniforms which might make them look underage. Though people that obviously do not look underage should not be restricted.
Microsoft and Yahoo are supporting the campaign.
