Sake no daimasu in Satte City has announced that they’ll be selling Junmaishu Toyoake “Lucky Star” starting from the 25th of March, pics are available at their website. The label looks kinda out of place… They should have made it like the Onegai Teacher ones.
Seasons of Change reports that the May issue of Techgian has announced that Type-moon will finally be releasing Fate/Complete Material soon. They’ve decided to split it into three volumes, and they haven’t announced a price or date, but the first volume will be released soon.
The first volume will be about the art and CG, the second volume about the character art and locations, and the third volume about the settings and terms used in Fate.
Seiyuu Chihara Minori is in the middle of her first live tour and a notice has been put up at her website saying that there have been fans that were not very orderly during her live concerts and she might not be able to have any more concert tours in the future if this continues.
The fans are advised not to swing their hands violently, start spinning around, or lean back when in an all-standing live house.
ufotable has announced on their blog that they will be selling a Kara no kyoukai key animation art book set at the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2008 during the days where it’s open to the public. It’ll comprise of two books, one for looking at the art, and one for flipping to see it in motion.
Their booth will also be made to look like Touko’s office, Garan no dou, as pictured above.
Peach-Pit has made a surprise appearance in Young Jump in this week’s issue with a one-shot comic called Shoujo no tsukurikata (How to make a girl) about how Shinku was made. The original Rozen Maiden manga ended its run in Comic Birz abruptly last year amid problems.
It isn’t officially serialized in the magazine yet, but there is a note at the end of the comic that says that they will be having a big announcement in next week’s issue.
Akibablog reports that the idol Sawamoto Asuka was back in Akihabara again flashing her ass for people to take photos while advertising her events, giving out flyers and stuff. This isn’t the first time she has been doing this as she was seen with similar antics last year. (and getting stopped by the police)

DAI-san Teikoku has a report on the increasingly popular Chinko matsuri aka Penis festival which is held on 15th March every year in Komaki city in the Aichi prefecture. Once a year they bring out the huge penises and swing them around at people without any censorship at all!
Aichi prefecture is a great place as not only do they air Moetan with even less censorship in the transformation sequences than the DVD version, it is also home to the penis shrine, the vagina festival, the breast goddess of mercy, the 1 meter tall parfait, and sweet pasta.
There are other spots in Japan with similar shrines, but Aichi’s has been the most famous.
This week’s Shounen Sunday comes with a free card of Sakuya from Hayate no gotoku which can be used in the Hayate no gotoku TCG. In commemoration of the Sakuya card, a certain Sakuya fan has brought upon himself to buy 398 copies of the magazine.
He had to travel to 82 different branches of 7-Eleven buying several copies of Shounen Sunday from each branch to complete the task (leaving a few copies so others can get their own copy)
398 is a wordplay on the name “Sakuya”, which is why he bought 398 copies. And each copy of Shounen Sunday costs 250 yen (2.50 USD), so 398 copies comes up to 99,500 yen (995 USD).
…I wonder how he’s going to get rid of 398 copies of Sunday.
