KFC dresses Colonel Sanders in a maid costume
AkibaHobby reports that the KFC branch in Akihabara has apparently dressed up their statue of Colonel Sanders in a maid costume to blend into the Akiba culture. He even comes with a heart shaped name plate on his apron that says “Colonel”.
More pics of the wonderful maid is available at AkibaHobby

Anybody else remember The Toy with Richard Pryor? He was serving chicken in a maid dress too. Also, apparently I’m bloody old, since that movie came out in 1982. - ZM

I really saw these protests from KFC America coming!
They sure thought of it as an act of Japanese seperatists trying to break their country free from the ‘Commonwealth of Nations pwned by Uncle Sam’ and feared that soon enough even the more influential ambassadors like RonaldMcDonald would have become target of such heinous plots…

After reading your story about the Colonel I remembered this story I saw yesterday about Col Sanders eating this fancy pie floater covered in mashed peas and gravy in Sydney.. They looked so good
