Preorders going fast for Little Busters Ecstasy
Japanese blog gNorm who’s in charge of the store Hyoutanshoten reports that preorders for Little Busters Ecstasy have been coming in at an amazing pace, almost twice the speed of the original Little Busters. This definitely shows what the power of ero can do…!

I’m not surprised in the least.

The power of ero? XD

Why that was the plan all along! Like with To Heart 2 you get teh rabid fans that could care less if there is ero, they buy it simply because it is Key (or Leaf/etc.) You make your money and ~then~ go back and release the X-rated version to:
1. Get the same fans that once again ~have~ to buy the game due to the Brand/names involved
2. Get the rest of the folk that were all pissed off and boycotting said brand/game due to them not releasing the ero in the first place.
There you have it, double the sales! (Sadly I fall into group 1 here…)
Though I must admit I think I like this approach more than the Circus D.C spring/summer/fall/winter/National Holidays/1 Year Anniversary Edition method.

TYPE-MOON is going to make soooo much money of that Tsukihime remake…

If the “power of ero” is that powerful, then why not use that in the first place?
Wow. Just wow.

Wasn’t an interview somewhere where Key stated that was their plan all along? Start with the all-ages and then release an 18-kin.

I wish Key would return to Clannad and make an 18-kin version of that too. Tomoyo After is not enough.

I lol’d. Indeed the Circus-style is too bloated and wallet-hungry.

¡Now only needs a Clannad ero version and the circle will be complete!

That would be me too, although I still need to pre-order it.

I kind of wish the vicious cycle would end, but I really, really love Da Capo.
