The Frontier Works website has announced that they will be expanding Umineko no naku koro ni onto other media starting this summer. I hope they aren’t going to announce an anime, it still feels too early in the story to have an anime already.
Akibablog reports that KFC has told the Akihabara branch to stop dressing Colonel Sanders in a maid costume apparently, so he has been returned to his original self.

Poor Colonel. Being dressed up like a meido must’ve depressed him so much, the rest of KFC felt he deserved better.

Jamn, they should just do some moe mascots for fast food. Like McDonald-tan, KFC-tan, etc….

The question I have: Are these people over in Akiba that desperate for attention? Are they bored from having nothing to do? Or is it really that bad in Japan?
“The Colonel In A Maid’s Dress.” Bet’cha can’t get away with that in some Middle-Eastern / Arab / Muslim country.

having never been within 100 miles of the tokyo radius (nor do i care to), i cant say for certain, but it sounds like they have nothing better to do. and yes, japan is seriously fucked up.
