They have to care for their image, and according to a few eroge seiyuu, it's really difficult to climb up into voicing normal anime once you're affiliated with eroge. There have also been cases where seiyuu use a different name when they accept a job without going through their talent agency Also some of them use different names to organize themselves between the kind of job that they're doing. And... there are seiyuu that use multiple names in the eroge world too, like Kazane who has 5 different names or Gotou Yuko who has 9 different names, and there is at least one person who uses more than 10 names. These people probably have their own reasons, or something. I'm not sure myself. Yeah basically what Skua said.
