Well, for someone who can’t read the novels, this *is* the next best thing (Though I suppose you could argue that not doing either as being the next best option).
I liked it a whole lot when season one came out; and while I can’t say I’m as ecstatic about the series now as I were when it first came out, I totally wouldn’t mind seeing more Haruhi.

^ I thought Haruhi novels are translated to the latest at “that” site. there are currently 9 volumes released right ?

Yeah, I know there are translations out there for the first 9 novels. I tried reading a few chapters, but I couldn’t really get into it. I like to think that maybe it flows better in its native tongue (i.e. More readable).
That, or I really can’t stand reading a novel on the computer.

And besides, she’s the current attempt at mixing Lain with NieA_7 ! Shooting it will be a betrayal of the concepts of both stories.
(Yes, I’m a Haruhi fan. Even if I’m not a moe fan)

Personally, it’s about time. this is leaps and bounds better than the Lucky Star OVA (overdone) and the Clannad after-story (play the game).
