Momotato is…
Omo made a post about Momotato so that’s a sign that I should be doing one too! It has been years since the last time Momotato updated his blog regularly, but I’m still waiting every day for him to make a sneaky return! The anime industry will slowly die every day if Momotato doesn’t update.
The world of anime and video games is lonely without Momotato Daioh
Omo says to leave a “Momotato” in when commenting on any blog just as a show of the number of people that appreciate Momotato, and I think it’s a great idea, if just to make him feel embarrassed.
I’m not any good at writing posts the way Omo does, but I hope I helped to add to the Momotato appreciation somehow.

I always like his blog, plus he introduced Azumanga to me and that’s how I found this site.

His blog is why I still read anime blogs to this day. And why I recently became a blogger.

Zeoy…. you can’t keep the charade up forever.
But whatever.

Why are there some many dick riders? What makes him so special?
Anyone can write about anime and videogames. It’s not that hard to give your own opinion on something.
What makes his opinions/views so special?

Look at the web address and you may have a clue.
It’s all a charade. I can guess that the annual updates on he blog are a sort of… summation of events. I only seem to go there if I need a recap.

My site always used to be on a different server on a free host, but Momotato is hosting my site now after he got http://www.momotato.com because he’s a great guy that helps host sites for friends on his hosting plan. We’re definitely different people though, I mean, it would be really scary if this guy on irc that I’ve been pushing to revive his site everyday was really myself.

It would also be scary for Momotato to be awaiting his own return so much that he put “awaiting Momotato Daioh’s return” in his banner!
Truth is I found zepy’s blog through momotato’s before he was on his server so I reckon what Zepy said is true :P

But then again, I am tempted to think that it is possible to take on a different identity. Alright, so it’s just a wild theory, and I’m 99% most likely wrong, but, the Internet being what it is….. I won’t say too much.

Looking @ his blog shows me how mediocre series have become, besides me having some changes in taste.
Quite a nice blog, even though i don’t find it the epitome of bloggery.

So, to sum up: this Momotato (unfortunately, that name, to me, is forever linked to a pr4wn site I *ahem* stumble upon way back when I was a fratboy) is an oracle.
If that is, then I can see why his disappearance became a legend.
And thus, begin my journey to glean into his archives.
In before: Momotato.

I’m a few weeks late, but Momotato was the first anime blog I ever read, and I do miss it. I got there from Insert Credit, and that’s how I came upon this site too…
