IMO they should just wait for the manga to end first before starting off any more anime. I mean I like negima and all, but past experience tells me anime that attempt to follow ongoing series usually get cut off badly without a proper end, or else deviate from the manga and generate a lot of criticism from fans.

yep the final count was 82,581…and Im in it too :).

Keep in mind thats the count for the very first OVA, not the whole three set. So be expecting more negima in the future :)

Well, the counter’s at 82581, but it’s been that for weeks. It should’ve gone up at least 1 in that time, so we have no way of really knowing until it’s out. Wait. It is out. Holy crap, I gotta go check!

What’s the current amount sold? I’d love to see a Movie of the Mahora Festival.And the Third series be about the current Arc, The Magic World. Showing Kotarou’s appearance however would need an OVA or two.

Seriously, I hope they use the OST/BGMs in the XEBEC’s version of Negima. I don’t like the BGMs made by SHAFT.

I want a Character voiced by Akio Otsuka. I like Akio because of his voice for “Snake from Metal Gear”.
And I want the scene from Chapter 166 with Akira from Manga Vol. 18. I never thought it would happen, until I checked out the Manga Vol. 18.

i think its more suited to be a 3rd anime series, maybe starting right after the kyoto arc, where negi learns he needs to become stronger and focuses more in training.
a lot of things happened after the kyoto arc, such as kotaro joining up with negi, negi’s training and kung fu.

seeing how much happens during the arcs, i cant really see a movie being able to show everything and would be rushed through.
the festival arc, too many time jumps and events that happened to fit in a movie
the magic world arc, not enough happened yet so the movie would end with a cliffhanger.

Well, it looks like we’ve made it to over 50,000. I’d love to see the third anime focus on the Chao arc, or when Negi goes into the Magical World. And I’d definately agree, Negima’s getting really huge in Japan. Now if only it were more accessable in America.
