Raiku vs Shogakukan
Hashiguchi Takashi, author of Yakitate!! Japan which ran in Shounen Sunday for 6 years, has started a blog and made a post in response to Raiku’s lawsuit against Shogakukan. In particular he talks about the Shogakukan editors that Raiku had named in his lawsuit with various claims of how horrible they are.
Hashiguchi says that the editors that were named by Raiku were definitely not the kind of people that Raiku claimed that they were in his lawsuit and that they are people that take manga really seriously. Hashiguchi also adds that if the editors want to sue Raiku for defamation, he is completely ready to appear as a witness.
Kumeta must be laughing happily reading all this news as he gets ready to write about it in the next chapter of Zetsubou Sensei.

This world where people sue companies for employee abuse has me in despair!

“Revenge-suit for defamation,” huh?
Then Bandai Visual would try to contact me, and try to sue me, over the fact that I exposed their fat and ugly superfanboy butts.
There’s something definitely wrong with you if you believe that the idea of people ACTUALLY FIGHTING BACK leaves you in despair. :(

That’s weird. The link now says that the blog doesn’t exist. There seems to be some doubts on 2ch as to whether this blog is really from Hashiguchi.

Yeap, the link doesn’t work any more, but the writing is yet accessible on Google’s cache.
