White Album

nandehirano.jpgMoon Phase has the news on White Album and the staff working on it, and they’ve apparently got Hirano Aya to voice Yuki and Mizuki Nana to voice Rina. And the art for the game will continue to be by Kawata Hisashi while the character designs for the anime will be by Yoshinari Kou.

…Yoshinari Kou!?

Also the PS3 version of the game will have the SLG elements taken out and White Album will be a pure AVG game. The songs White Album, Sound of Destiny, and Powder Snow from the PC version will still be used in some way even if they have new songs for the OP and ED.

The story for the anime will be different from the game.

Story for the anime will be different from the game? Sounds like true tears. Not that I wouldn’t mind, if they can come up with an equally compelling and interesting story and plot.

I only hope Aya Hirano doesn’t do her squeaky, cutesy voice.

  2. Skua Says:

true tears (anime) had a completely different premise and character cast from the game, which certainly isn’t the case for White Album.

I’m guessing that the anime will have a remixed story, featuring a number of all-new events.

I guess this is still surprising. A question:

Are the PS3 game and the anime independent of each other? Or is there some active promotion going around?

  4. Zepy Says:

Hmm I’m not sure what you mean by your question so I’ll try to answer what I think you might be asking about

Both anime and game will be about the same characters and world, and will both be about love relationships in the entertainment business and game remake was basically started to coincide with the anime.

Shouldn’t Aya Hirano and Nana Mizuki’s roles be reversed?
I mean they fit those characters almost perfectly. Mizuki could probably portray both characters well enough but Hirano as Yuki… that puts a bad taste in my mouth.

I admit I’m kind of sad the random conversation events are gone… I must be one of the few who liked the idea but they were fun despite being useless.

I hope AKKO will sing Powder Snow if it’s in the game. That’s the only choice.

This info is from this week’s Famitsu right? So the Dengeki G’s scoop hasn’t come yet. I wonder if it will tell us anything different?

“game remake was basically started to coincide with the anime.”

That answered my question. Thanks. I was confused over how the two were being released.

Game remake for the anime or anime for the game remake. So it’s the former.

If anything, that would be Mizuki Nana
