So… Back to the Original series, it seems. At just 12 episodes to cover, the transition to movie might go well. Let’s see.
Movie Bardiche looks sharper.

Article says it’s a parallel universe and not a summary of the original.

Repentance for StrikerS?
S1 could be really great with better pacing. Let’s see how this pans out.
I wonder if Shinbo will be directing!?

I don’t see this as Repentance for StrikerS as that seemed to go over well in Japan. I do see this as an attempt to redo season 1, as the pacing can use some improvements. And well Nanoha does print anime money :)

So alternate history while also retreading the first season (cause it is Nanoha vs Fate after all)
Perhaps they’re going to remove the Jewel Seeds, in favor of something else. That would be alright, It would be more appropriate I think, cause a movie about collecting just seems.,..off

O_O
Season 1 didn’t really break from the standard mahou shoujo formula for the first 1/3, and the giant robots at the end were a little misplaced (and peculiar in design). Perhaps they’re trying to rework it into something with a more consistent aesthetic, closer to A’s or StrikerS.

The standard mahou shoujo formula was the bad part. They should be cutting it out and focusing on the battles between Nanoha and Fate. The fighting is all we watch Nanoha for, pretty much.

My point exactly; the formula at the start and the silly robot fight at the end both failed to excite; the only real point of the robots was to showcase the NanoFei love-love reunion and act as token end-bosses. The middle part with Fate was the best.
In fact, the entire series fails whenever it tries to introduce only non-human antagonists on one side of a fight (yes, I’m counting the Beast That Didn’t Fight Back there). There are a few bright spots such as the train attack in StrikerS, but even that didn’t quite have the oomph of the human/human fights. Which is why A’s was made of spectacular and awesome apart from the Beast fight. I’m hoping for Precia to transform into something spectacularly nasty and put up a good fight in the movie; that might break the curse since she sort of counts as human…
