Gurren Lagann USB flash drive

tsuranuke.jpgQuad Elements has announced that they’re making a new USB flash drive modelled after the core drill from Gurren Lagann. They’re taking preorders now and plan to release it in October for 4,900 yen (US$45) and it has only 1gb worth of memory.

    This…

    This I like…

Shame it only has 1 GB, tho.

  2. Poke Says:

It should have a mechanism that requires you to rotate it like a key to make it work.

    That thing is so awesome.

But with 1GB I would never use it.

  4. Fat Cat Lim Says:

I might as well get a butt plug: it looks similar to the Gurren drill, cheaper, and at least it won’t screw me over for paying so much for just 1GB of memory!

  5. Jumbo Says:

Apparently a mans soul only burns as bright as a single gig of hard drive space. Kinda sad.

  6. Atashi Says:

About as rip-off-ish as the Code Geass Lancelot key 2GB USB drive.

  7. soloista Says:

They should make these into 16gb drives, then I’ll reconsider.

The Gurren Lagann Revoltech I got cost less or maybe the same as that and came with a better looking drill that I can probably cut apart and put a bigger flash drive into on my own.

If I had one of these, I’d probably be yelling “SPIN ON!” and try jamming the drive in the USB slot. With would likely damage the slot, the drive, or both simultaneously.
