170,000 people at day one of Comic Market
Mainichi reports that day one of Comic Market was attended by approximately 170,000 people once again, equalling the record that was set during the last summer in 2007. The bag checks were carried out smoothly without any problems in the flow of traffic apparently.

Actually, the “bag checks” were just a single police officer walking by the line formations. There were no real inspections to note. On the bright side, it wasn’t as hot as last year and with that typhoon nearby we had a breeze.
Sunday might be muggy though as it just rained.

they didnt even have bag checks on sunday.
at least, i dont remember any.

I’m happy to hear CM attracted again many people, may it live forever and inspire the participants. ^^
