Macross F is a pile of shit compared to the energy put into this. Seriously, even sakuga aficionados who praise what others call 作画崩壊 would say so amirite I guess it might be possible to infer that some anime that were supposed to have a good budget can have seemingly bad animation because the scenario wasn’t done early and the animators didn’t have enough time.
