Haruhi-chan and Churuya-san in Newtype

nanjakorya

From October issue of Newtype

Takemoto Yasuhiro (Lucky Star, Full Metal Panic) is the director. Anime is by Kyoto Animation.

Also, Takemoto Yasuhiro was the main director in charge of Haruhi new animation together with Ishihara who was overall director. Not that Haruhi-chan or Churuya-san has anything to do with Haruhi new animation.

Moon Phase also reports that the art for the Newtype article is by Nishiya Futoshi, who’s the chief animation director for Haruhi new animation. They’re serious about this anime.

So it’s confirmed. KyoAni is doing this abomination that is a disservice to the first season of Haruhi.

Ah well, then again, we haven’t had a new season of Haruhi in ages, so this is so-so filler.

Then again, Churuya is in it, and I hope Itsuki gets some more time in this. Yes, I’d hit that.

    What to say?
    Honestly, i don’t give a damn.
There are more important things than getting into a hissy fit over some filler anime series.

Who wants to give a damn anyway ? There are bigger things in the world to worry about.

    Clearly this is an improvement.

    Haruhi? Stupid popular.

    Lucky Star? Stupid popular.

Clearly Kyoani’s line of logic is that combining the two will cause the universe to explode… into money, which will continue to line their bank accounts.

It’ll do, but I’d much rather see canon being created rather than filler… but I guess we’ll just have to accept whatever we get, shit or not.
