Little Busters EX sells less than the original
Sales data from Techgian and PUSH!! magazine are out and Little Busters EX has apparently had lower sales than the original Little Busters. So either Key fans aren’t too interested in ero scenes or Itaru’s scary art of Kurugaya’s detachable boobs sent everybody running for cover.
Techgian and PUSH!! counts sales by points, so actual sales numbers are not available.
I guess that makes Little Busters EX the 3rd best selling eroge for the year, with Fortune Arterial and ToHeart2 AD in the top 2 winning by a big margin.

This Key fan is quite content with H-CG ^_^
But yeah… to reissue the whole game when a fandisc release would have sufficed it’s not surprising the numbers aren’t as high.

LOL, not really surprising, Key’s status was built upon the lack of erotic scenes in their recent games and now fans won’t put up with the reintroduction thereof.

This just proves that there are really no Key fans that will pass on a game due to lack of ero, but there is a significant percentage of fans who will buy the game again if it adds ero content.

Blame artificial shortage. I’d gladly have bought a copy on my last trip to Japan had it been possible to find one at all, but it was sold out everywhere. So I picked the original Little Busters second hand from Sofmap instead, for like ¥2500.

They should have gone the Aquaplus route and released Little Busters on the PS2 and EX on the PC much later than a year

Little Busters EX will be released on the PS2, minus eroge and even mroe stuff than the original version or the eroge version.
