Gyakuten Saiban musical by Takarazuka Revue
Famitsu reports that it was announced during the Gyakuten Saiban autumn orchestra concert that the all-female musical theater Takarazuka Revue will be performing a musical play adaptation based on Gyakuten Saiban. Where all-female means Naruhodo will be played by a female actresses.
The main character of this play will be Naruhodo, but they’ll be using the name from the US version “Phoenix Wright” instead so that it fits more to the style that the Takarazuka Revue is known for.
They also plan to have all major characters (such as Mitsurugi) from the game to appear, and there are plans to introduce some romance into the story.
The musical will be performed between 5th February 2009 to 15th February 2009 in the Takarazuka Bow Hall and from 24th February 2009 to 2nd March 2009 in Tokyo.
