Manga: P.S. Three-san
P.S. Three-san (amazon) is a manga by IKa which was originally posted online as a web comic but was recently published and sold in a book. The story is about this girl called PS3-san who is trying to become an idol, and her main rivals are Wii-san and Hakomaru-san (referring to the 360).
I couldn’t think of a way to introduce the manga effectively so I made everything easier by translating a few of the strips instead.
It’s a webcomic so you can still read it on the author’s site.
The book version has some changes to the dialogue so they don’t directly refer to any of the companies or consoles, but is basically the same thing (and same image resolution - he didn’t redraw them).
Also you’re a true console otaku if you understand everything + extra bonus points if you recognise the character used to represent Koei.

Hey; I don’t speak fluent Japanese or have the time to spend in jail for chasing after children. It’s bad enough that I have to sit through, and expose, shows where grown men can’t even defend themselves. But the sexualization of children is just sick.
I have better things to spend $300+ on than overrated video game systems. Why should my opinions have changed now?

Lolis combine two things that otaku love: cute things that feel good to glomp and something to pleasure oneself with (Lolis > hand). This combination of double trouble, with Lolis being drawn to be far more attractive in anime and manga that real girls actually are, lead to the transformation of otaku into dirty pedophiles. However! There are still those who, while influenced, have still held strongly onto their love of breasts and curves. Mmmm, delicious onee-sama. Yes, lolis may be cute, but the guilt-free enjoyment of fantasizing about bangin’ a chick whose legal and hot, like Zabuza sword, cannot be beat. Viva la oppai!

Well. If these type of accusations are gonna be levelled against me, then the accusers are all fans of Naruto.
Honestly; I thought Boku no Pico was a good h-anime title. And saying “Negima girls are really 18,” is a person who’s obviously “stuck inside the box” in terms of the real world.
My point: I, who’s over the legal age, state that I refuse to go to prison over the sexual involvement of whoever’s under the legal age. I would like to avoid the incredible harm incurred from within prison as well as the red tape I have to suffer through when or if I get out.
Too much (h-)doujin about old guys scoring with kids can mess up your mind; it will do that to you.

Well actually, I don’t think there are underaged characters at all in Japanese anime. I watched this anime called “Temptation”, and it said they were all college students in a university.
It had subtitles so I know. I actually speak Japanese, FYI. “Sensei” is Japanese for “professor”, and “joshikousei” is Japanese for “college student”.
