Chinese anime and online game stuff

17173.com reports that the China-made online game Kou dai xi yuu is apparently going to be animated in China. A trailer has also been put up for the anime.
The game is not some officially licensed Blue Dragon online game, it just looks really similar, and has “blue dragon” in the title.
Also a Chinese princess maker online game, which has nothing to do with the princess maker series in Japan, started beta testing.

In non-rip-off gaming news, the China-made AVG adaptation of the old Chinese classic Dream of the red chamber is being ported to the PSP.

The TV ad for Norn Saber online has been released too, all it shows is a bunch of swimsuit girls running to a happy guy. Doesn’t say anything about the actual game but it sounds like a great game!?

Wow, that was one of the lamest game ads I’ve seen. I guess they’re moving towards the direction of how beer ads were a few years back. And the game just looks like the thousands of old Chinese RPGs out there.

And China’s age of consent is 14, so no problems there with the ages of the female characters in Dream of the Red Chamber game I guess.

Threw up a buncha times, but my stomach has finally settled. Is this what prison rape is like? And the title is a another rip on Pokemon (”Pocket Journey to the West, Blue Dragon” is the full title). But really these mofos have been at it for a while. I kept a copy of an old 80s Hong Kong comics where they’d cut and pasted panels and panels from Akira (mostly destructive scenes) into some stupid kung fu scifi knockoff comics it was running. Well, the Chinese (my once countrymen) can go fap themselves.
