Strike Witches season 2 announced
No details yet, but yeah. I do hate Kadokawa marketing.
Going to be away for a bit, so (probably) no updates till Sunday or so.
The Washimiya commerce and industry association will be making a TV drama called Washimiya ☆ Monogatari which will be based in Washimiya City, and they will be taking ideas from the public for the show starting from 3rd March till 15th April.
The theme of the show is about everyday life in Washimiya, and the aim of the drama is to revitalize the city. There is no specified genre, and the timeslot or media only will be decided after they see the ideas submitted. They’re aiming to complete the drama by Autumn.

An announcement that an anime for Shin Koihime Musou would be made was shown on a TV ad (Youtube) on TVK. Doesn’t say if it’ll be a TV series or an OVA. Maybe they’ll let Kazuto appear this time. Or not.
A new version of the countdown flash was uploaded on the Strike Witches website today and if you set your date to the 28th of February it’ll show a message saying that the subtitle for the official game has been announced. This is Kadokawa style!
If you set the date to 27th February which is when the big announcement is supposed to actually come, it just stays at 0 days, and if you set the date to 1st March it just blanks out instead of having the announcement.
There’s that bit of hope in the corner that the new flash was just uploaded today as a prank to trick people into thinking that the announcement is about the game or it was put in for after the announcement is made.
Either way I realised I hate Kadokawa marketing.
GanGan JOKER is a new magazine that will be starting on the 22nd of April and the official website has updated revealing that they will be serializing a manga based on the doujin game Himawari. The art will be by Hiyama Daisuke who has been drawing Megalomania on GanGan POWERED till it ended last issue.
A drama CD was already announced previously too, maybe the idea of having an anime isn’t that crazy anymore…!?

The Kara no kyoukai website has updated announcing that Kara no kyoukai Remix -Gate of seventh heaven- will be going on cinemas starting from 14th March. It says it’s a remix by ufotable of the first 6 chapters, but it doesn’t sound like there will be any newly done scenes.
A remixed version sounds cool, I wonder if they’ll release a dvd for it.
But more importantly when will they make a movie for recalled out summer, also a movie for that completely new plot that was written to be used as the first movie but wasn’t used because ufotable’s script for the first movie was good enough.
Cave was displaying Death Smiles 2 at AOU with the first stage playable (youtube). At the booth they were also handing out fliers which made into a game where you try to blow the clothes off the main character in the game for 500,000 points while trying to avoid to blowing the new girl down.

Some people were worried many years ago when Cave suddenly started having moe themes in their games, but Cave is proceeding to the next stage and evolving even further now!

The Strike Witches official website has updated with a countdown for a big announcement that will be coming in the afternoon on the 27th of February. It would be pretty fast if they’re going to be announcing a second season already!
The subtitle for the official game will also be announced on the 27th through The Sneaker, but it’s probably not related to the count down because the anime site doesn’t seem to even publicize for the game.
