Billy Herrington to come to Japan + live on Nico
Niconico news has announced that the superstar of Nico video, Billy Herrington aka fairy of the forest aka aniki, will be coming to Japan and fans will be able to watch him via live broadcast on nico.
He’ll be coming to Wonder Hobby 9 on the 14th and there will be a figma talk show in commemoration of his coming to Japan (why!?!)
More details about the event will be released as the date of the event draws closer.

Awesome! It’ll be full of hilariousness, I’m sure. Some of his vids that get posted are almost 10 years old though. I wonder if he still looks the same and still does what he does? (I read somewhere that he’s married and has a kid now, lol.) You just know the types of questions that he’s gonna get asked: can you say [insert funny line from the video]? can you say アッー！? do you still battle the forces of TDN?

I doubt he’d know who TDN (Van Darkholme) is, I don’t think he was in any of the videos with him.
He’d probably know Jounichi, Kazuya, Choro~n, Tortoise, Cream Soup Ikeda, Gosaku, Terryman and Owen though!

What kind of event is Wonder Hobby 9? PVC/figma exclusive? Some garage kits?

The main theme this time is Figma and Nendoroid, but makers will still display other new works, and there are talkshows and live radio shows going on the stage.
I don’t know too much about how the event is like though, I’m not really into figures and I’ve never been to figure events.

Ditto what “anonymous” said! Its a shame Billy Herrington is such an accomplished con artist. However, it is true! I won’t air all the dirty laundry and smut about this “character”. But he’s not stand up, he’s a self absorbed criminal, user and drug abuser. But he puts on a really good show. All you have to do is watch his facial expressions, he is a liar and has absolutely no conscience.
