Queens Blade Spiral Chaos SRPG for the PSP

stripping game...?The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Bandai Namco is making a Queens Blade SRPG for the PSP for release in 2009, with new original characters by Poyoyon Rock joining the cast. Judging by the screenshots, the game seems to look like it might be using the Super Robo engine or something similar.

Also, staying true to the spirit(?) of Queens Blade, you can break your opponent’s armor in the game to humiliate her, and there will be cut-in graphics to illustrate the armor breaking.

Armor breaking to humiliate? Only can be thought by Japan. I love it.

Please tell me this isn’t an April Fool’s Joke.

There have been manga, anime, and even some pc games in the past where a major element in the story was that the female characters have to strip after being defeated. Then there’s even soul calibur, where you can remove armor of both sexes, but it’s to increase damage not humiliation.

I always knew there’d be a queen’s blade game one day, but it hurts me that it turns out to be a TRPG, and on PSP! I wanted a fighter or action game for the PS3. This company has tie ins with namco, I’d like to see the soul calibur engine on this or something.
