Teatime introduces new revolutionary eroge
Eroge maker Teatime has announced Tech48, a new game that will utilize face tracking technology to sense the angle from which the player is looking at the monitor and change the camera angle accordingly to “create a link between reality and the game world”.
A video of the game in action featuring seiyuu Miyazawa Yuana is available for download here or on youtube.
They’re also currently looking for testers for the technology, and will mail free cams and a trial of the game to a hundred applicants.
I don’t know if it really is the first game to do face tracking, all I know is that the EyeToy faded out really quick! Also I hope they aren’t going to do stupid things with this, like asking the player to go naked and start pumping his hips in front of the monitor.
